Despite Cataclysm having opened up lv. 80+ content, it seems we in Shattered Knights have decided to tackle this punk from the bottom up. Bro and many others rolled puppies… where I’m rocking out with my Draenei warrior because she’s such a freaking badass.

So, Hynderia is now 51 and got punted down to Bogpaddle in ye olde Swamp of Sorrows, and I find this Alliance (I’m assuming Alliance based on coloration and because there are Alliance shields posted here and there) ship on the dock. And, uh, it’s empty. Not a single NPC on it, at all. Maybe it’s part of a phased quest chain, but so far it looks like this ship is entirely for show and completely abandoned.

…and, you know what? I haven’t busted out this meme in awhile, buuuuut…

It’s, uh, a little small compared to some other Alliance ships I’ve seen, without a “basement” to speak of, so I call dibs on the captain’s room. It’s also a little dusty, but the captain’s room appears to have been well-cared-for, and well-stocked with booze… and he was apparently big on reading, too, since there are books everywhere.

I’d definitely dig sleeping in here, though; it’s way better than what I’m packing in RL— my bed is freaking tiny, and, dude, IT’S A FREE SHIP. If it were a little bigger, I’d even call it the Lazrigees. :)

There are two empty Horde ships a little further away… but Hynderia can’t fly yet, so she has no way of getting aboard. Either whenever she dings 60 or I remember to bring Yoshi or Leslie out here, I’ll have a look around and claim those abandoned ships for Across too. >:D
