Welp, I finally decided to, after being trolled for weeks by my brother, try a fire build on Yoshi. >_>;

Of course, I had to call him out on being a concern troll. He and mother share this extremely obnoxious idea— “if I harass someone long enough, they’ll actually do it” or something. There’s that kind of empty trolling (which you would be wise to NEVER EVER DO THAT if you want me to do anything for you), and then there’s “you should do this, and here is how you can do it effectively.” Guess which one is more likely to work?

So once I slapped him (and boss) on guild chat about that… it looks like they got the point, since Robert fed me links to ElitistJerks forum posts and such. And, bless him, he even bothered to help me work out my DPS rotation. Holy freaking crap, dood!

Geez, I sound so mean-spirited and snarky. I’m sorry. It’s just that a lot of the time (both ingame and in RL) he would talk down to me like I was disabled or otherwise mentally compromised (or acting that way just to be difficult). It’s especially painful in the real world since I suffer from horrendous brain-to-speech lag that makes it stupidly easy for most people to outmaneuver me in conversation (something mother exploits to full extent when she rips me apart) Maybe he really did take my biting back on the trolling to heart, since in addition to the above, he’s changed how he’s talked to me ingame… a little.

SO. Fire Flower mode. I’m a freaking Fire Flower with feet— seriously, one of the talents lets you move while casting Scorch. To paraphrase my favorite podcast’s live read of a spam prevention service, “it sticks a stick of dynamite in the enemy’s mouth and throws them off a bridge… and watches ‘em explode.” As far as DPS rotation goes, it feels like a significantly-more-reckless version of Arcane, since there’s that chance of AoE spill-over and if I’m not careful, I’m likely to have a crapton of things aggro on me and OMG RUN AWAAAAAY. Full-blown AoE mode is even worse in this regard— sure, it’s fun to watch things explode in large numbers, but I’m totally not going to do that while soloing. I’ll keep my Arcane-with-a-pinch-of-Frost mode for when I’m alone, thank you.

Elsewhere, Hynderia’s just tapped lv. 70 and already farming Northrend metals like a good little space goat miner. The downside? I gotta yank another 4k out of my butt to pay for her flight training. Bah! All the same, it also means abusing LFD to nudge her through Northrend as quickly as possible and then the final push to 85 afterwards. Space goat SMASH! or something. (Also? Bladestorm is FUN.)

And now, I head to bed before I daydreaming about exploring— ohgod, why did I type that as “explogico?” Yeah. Sleeptime now. *poing*
